About the HOA

The San Joaquin Parkway consists of 269 single family homes located off FM 528 in Friendswood, Texas. The subdivision was built in three phases: Carmel Village was established first in 1985. Mission Estates One and Mission Estates Two construction took place between 1990 and 1993.

The HOA is responsible for:

  1. Governance of Deed Restrictions

  2. Provide leadership to improve both the quality of living and property values for all members

  3. Maintenance of the common grounds consisting of the esplanade median on San Joaquin Parkway and two park areas, one located in Carmel Village and the other located in Mission Estates Two

  4. Secure adequate coverage to protect homeowners from liability resulting from any common areas

The affairs of the HOA are managed by a Board of Directors consisting of six members. Each year two new directors are elected to serve a three year term at the annual General Meeting. Homeowners are required to pay annual dues to the HOA.
